Immunity Booster: – Raw honey contains bee pollen, which is known to ward off infections, provide natural allergy relief and boost overall immunity.


“One study fed 25 subjects about four tablespoons of honey per day for 29 days in addition to their regular diets. When blood samples were taken at the start and end of the study, researchers found a clear, direct link between honey consumption and an increased level of disease-fighting polyphenols in the blood”

Pre and post workout – Raw honey contains natural sugars (80 percent), water (18 percent), and minerals, vitamins, pollen and protein (2 percent). It provides an easily absorbed supply of energy in the form of liver glycogen making it ideal for energetic morning starts and as a pre and post exercise energy source.

Promotes sleep: – Raw honey promotes restorative sleep in two ways. By consuming honey before bedtime, it restocks the liver’s glycogen supply and prevents the brain from triggering a crisis search for fuel, which can wake you up. Secondly, eating raw honey fosters the release of melatonin in the brain by creating a small spike in insulin levels, which stimulates the release of tryptophan in the brain. Tryptophan converts to serotonin which is then converted to melatonin.

Heal Ulcer: – Honey reacts with the body’s fluids to make hydrogen peroxide, creating an inhospitable environment for bacteria. Honey may reduce the size, pain and odour of problematic skin ulcers.It is also helpful in IBS to heal the intestinal lining.

Diabetes Management: – The combination of raw honey and cinnamon can be especially beneficial to healthy diabetes management

Increases Haemoglobin: – One of the most natural ways to increase haemoglobin is by consuming raw honey. The mineral richness of this opaque cells help increase the iron content of the blood thereby treating anaemia

Recipes
For sore throat or cold and cough – just add few drops of ginger juice and tulsi drops to honey and lick it from spoon. It will give instant relief .Good for Childers as well. It’s safe to repeat this 3-4 times a day and good for digestion as well!
For skin regime- Mix besan + organic haldi and raw honey with little water and use it as a face pack 2 times a week for bright and radiant skin.

Honey that has not been filtered, pasteurized or processed.
From clove—the most common source of mass-produced honey—to wildflower, orange blossom, eucalyptus, sage and tupelo, raw honey showcases its variety of source. Unlike large-scale commercial honey pasteurized to extend its shelf-life, raw honey retains all of the natural enzymes and nature full distinguishing flavors.

What Is Raw Honey?
Raw honey is a crude form of honey immediately taken out of the honeycombs within a bee hive. This form of honey is far from pure. It commonly contains bee pollen and propolis which are both two very positive health additions
The FDA does not officially define specification to test and certify as raw honey, but it's generally recognized as honey that exists as it did in the hive, without being filtered or pasteurized. Honey marketed as unpasteurized may or may not be filtered.

Honey, whether raw or pasteurized, naturally resists the growth of bacteria and other dangerous organisms because of its low moisture content and high acidity. However, yeast spores that naturally exist in the nectar used to produce honey can multiply and cause fermentation, which, while not dangerous, can affect the flavor. Some commercial producers choose to pasteurize their products, which kills any lingering yeast. It also resists honey from crystallizing as quickly.

What Does It Taste Like?
Raw honey tends to have a more complex flavor than pasteurized honey. Different varieties taste like the nectar the bees feasted on before producing the honey, with some light and sweet and others dark and robust.

Honey available off the shelf is the pasteurized form which may not be entirely pure. Artificial honey is a food with many shortcomings, representing a solution of inverted sugar syrup, which comes from refined sugar, which often has other ingredients added. Such a synthetic preparation can be achieved in domestic conditions, but you need to know it is not healthy. Artificial honey contains a physical mixture of glucose and fructose focused elements that have separated from the previous combination of sugar. Hence best bet is to procure the honey directly from the beekeepers.

    I am native of Jhajjar city, Haryana and my father suffered head injury in a road accident, with 2 months ICU... hospitalization. The hospital Dr advised to follow a good care as my father was on PEG tube feeding. But we had no idea on how to manage his tube nutrition and avoid any further hospitalisation. I searched Dieticians online and, find out Diet Planet supporting hospitalised patients. I consulted Dietician Priyanka and she helped with a personalized plan to supply high quality nutritious diet in very less portion via tube feed.     Today I would like to share my dieting experience with one of my favourite motivational quote which says that the best... way not to feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Before taking my dieting plan my weight was 67 and I used to look so fatty.i always had a wish to look good and try different western dresses But due to my weight i hesitate to try different dresses and also not feel confident from inside.
